Captain Michael has been fishing the waters of Charlotte Harbor and the surrounding area since 2008 and has developed a knowledge and understanding of the area and the game fish that live here. He will confidently guide you on an action packed and informative day on the water.
I specialize in light tackle artificial and fly fishing, Although I am not opposed to using bait when the situation warrants it, ie... tarpon, they can be very fussy and sometimes they just dont want anything but a piece of meat!!!
Perhaps your more of a beginning angler and like the idea of learning to catch fish on lures, lets spend some time working on those skills, I enjoy teaching and watching people evolve and grow as anglers and ultimately the bent rod and screaming drag is the goal we aim to achieve... so if the struggle gets real and before frustration hangs its cloud over our day lets put a shrimp on that jighead and bend a rod. Or maybe your bringing your more novice significant other, child or grandchild... we definitely want their experience to be memorable in a positive way so that they want to join us again in the future.

My home territory is Charlotte harbor and its connecting estuaries extending from Placida to the north and Estero Bay to the south. Including all of Charlotte harbor, Pine Island sound, Sanibel & Captiva, Matlacha, Estero Bay and the Caloosahatchee, Peace and Myakka rivers.
Exactly where we spend our day will be determined by several different factors. First and foremost will be a combination of the weather forecast and your desired species and style of fishing. Different seasons and where I'm currently seeing the best bite will also factor in to our options and choices.
My Skiff is on a trailer so our meeting point will be adjusted according to where we are going to fish for the day and the most convenient for you.
In addition I am also available for destination trips to Everglades National Park and Florida Bay. These are typically multiple day trips based out of Flamingo. Due to the remote nature of the location planning for this well in advance is imperative,
